La Casetta nell'Orto
Take the sustainable route to dining at Verdura Resort and enjoy a gastronomic journey through our vegetable garden, followed by a cooking class, culminating in a Sicilian feast for the senses.
Cocooned by skilfully cultivated olive groves, Casetta nell’Orto – the cottage in our vegetable garden – is a unique space designed by Fulvio Pierangelini, Rocco Forte Hotels’ Creative Director of Food, where you can discover and taste freshly grown food and experience the best of healthy living.
Cooking classes are available daily upon request. You will have the opportunity to walk in our beautiful vegetable garden, know more about the season produce grown at the resort and differences between the varieties; then straight to the internal kitchen equipped with live cooking stations and preparation of the dishes such as Maccherroncino alla Norma and Sicilian Caponata.
